At Home Acne Treatment

If you\'re tired of shelling out money for typical treatments, why not try some at home acne treatment ideas instead?  Most of these can be found in a supermarket or drugstore if you don\'t have them in your home already.  What\'s more is that they\'re cheap, gentle on your skin and for most people, tend to work better than chemical alternatives. Click Here For The Best Skin Care Guide One cheap and very beneficial at home acne treatment is oatmeal.  Simply cook the oatmeal, let it cool, then place it on your face for 10-15 minutes.  This is good for drawing out toxins from your skin as well as absorbing excess oil from your face.  Another method of preparation is to process the oatmeal in a blender or food processor into a powder, mix with water, then apply to your skin.  This second method works nearly the same as the first, but it is more of an exfoliator than anything else.  When using oatmeal, make sure you\'re using plain oatmeal without anything added to it to avoid any messy complications. Another at home acne treatment is to make a baking soda scrub.  I talk about baking soda all the time by itself, but you can also make it more of an exfoliator by simply adding some sea salt into the mixture.  The course salt will help exfoliate more dead skin from your face and it is also very good for your skin.  Simply mix everything with a little bit of water and lightly, very lightly massage it onto your skin and then rinse off. The oil cleaning method is a great at home acne treatment option that most people overlook simply because of its name.  Just because you have oily skin doesn\'t mean you should avoid this method.  In fact it works very well for people that tend to have oily skin.  This is because it helps trick your body into making less oil than it normally produces as well as washing away excess oil and dead skin.  All you need to do is mix castor oil with extra virgin olive oil.  For added benefit, throw in some jojoba oil for good measure.  Jojoba has many very beneficial qualities and helps your skin reduce the amount of oil it makes throughout the day.  Use about 30% castor oil to 70% olive oil.  If you\'re using jojoba, split it 50/50 with the oilve oil. The last at home acne treatment for today is to make a mask with egg whites.  Egg whites have lots of vitamins that are very beneficial for the skin and in addition, when this mask dries, it shrinks and tightens your skin, helping it expel any junk trapped in pores, so be sure to rinse your face pretty well after you\'ve done this mask.  For added help in clearing away red marks from your face, squeeze a few drops of lemon juice into the egg whites. There are many different at home acne treatment options.  These few here barely brush the surface when it comes to cheap alternatives that work well to heal your skin.  As always, however, remember that acne is a problem that begins inside the body and as such, it can only be cured by treating the real problems inside of you.
