Recently I got one or two spots around my nose. i kept picking at them and now I have red, sore dry skin around my nose. does anyone have any home remedies or tips that will clear my skin up again? I don\'t usually get many spots and I have tried Clearasil, and Clean and Clear before, but I\'ve got sensitive skin and it just seems to make them worse. thanks :)

First DONT PICK…thats soooooo bad you’ll give your self scars on your face. Secondly I have oily and sensitve skin so I use an organic face soap and the ClariSonic (little expensive) but it really gets all the gross stuff off
Don’t pick spots it only makes them worse! I reccomend using a really gentle facial moisturiser and just letting the red patch heal in it’s own time, if you try to force it it could come back again.
Clearasil is really bad for skin, try antibacterial fash was like (for australia) Acne Derm face wash its really soft but it works really well even if you dont have acne.
Hey! How you doin! lol , well my tip , which you may be like shut up is i drink a BIG cup of water , before i get to bed , and when i wake up i feel like my skin is a bit clearer and looks clearer , followed by just a regular face wash! Then some cocoa butter lotion! Good Luck!!
Use Exfoliac. On first glance, it’s a bit more expensive, but the ammount you need per-use is so small, it will compensate in cost. And it works! put a drop the size of half a penny (flat… not round) on a facial sponge and wash with warm water.
Until the skin heals, you can’t do much about the redness besides using a cover-up stick. Choose this by going into the cosmetics dept of your local dept. store and ask the sales girls for help with color matching. When you find the one that fits, you can use that and some foundation powder to make the spots nearly invisible until they heal. Also, be sure to use a good skin cream to help with the dryness. Good doesn’t have to be expensive. Look around and try a few testers before deciding. Where I am, there is a local chain that has it’s own brand of face creams which run around 10euros per pot.

well first of all if you have a sensitive skin i dont think clearasil would make things better for you, because its a pretty aggressive cleansing agent. about the red dry skin around your nose: its best to put something moisturizing on it, such as nivea moisturizer. and i know its very hard, but to stop picking at your spots would already be great, because it prevents bacterias from under your nails to create more spots. also its very essential to clean your skin every evening before going to bed.
