I’m getting rid of such an infection after undergoing interferon treatment for Hep C, which destroys your immune system and allows dormant bacteria and yeast to flourish.

Can topical antibiotics, like Polysporin, also cause candida?

jojoba oil used of the face can help reduce the acne. Jojoba will actually help reduce the oilyness of the skin. Adding neem oil to the jojoba can also help. Jojoba and neem help reduce bacteria and fungi/yeast/candida

My mother swears by oregeno as a natural anti candida treatment! Just add a tea spoon full of dried oregano to your main meal each day for a week or two and the natural oils in the herb (which give it the taste) will act as a safe internal disinfectant!! I’ve not tried it myself so can’t promise anything, and if you suffer alergies be very careful as you could become sensitive to pizza!!

A fantastic article – written by someone who is obviously caring and sensitive. Your choice of words on this video are really encouraging. I feel most people think they have a deadly illness when it comes to candida. But simply, more control is needed over diet and medication! Great video – I will listen more! THANK YOU!

highonhealth April 28, 2010 at 9:33 pm

OOh, I was always curious about that snail stuff. It’s interesting to hear your feedback. I almost considered buying it once myself. I know of the tea you’re talking about. It won’t preform miracles but it will help your health :)

Scrubbing your face like that if you have active acne is a bad idea, it can break the pimples and spread infection. You’re better off exfoliating with an AHA or BHA. If you don’t have active acne it’s okay, but still be gentle! Our skin is more delicate than we think.

iiYaMa72 April 28, 2010 at 9:46 pm

oh I also use this snail creme I think u know it its kinda new and prety popular it was on tv and stuff and shops here where I live were sold out lol
but it workd pretty good but doesnt stop it like they say it is less I did see that difference — u have many soorts I have one thats called ‘Elicina’
I also drink *not sure wat u call it in english* but its a tea from nettle (little green plant stings when u touch it lol) hope u know wat I mean

I have acne for a long time now Ive been on a mission to stop it but cant find anything
But id like to know wat u think about scrubing
I did it with a gel/soupy substance but I wasnt carefull thwe gel made it worse but know some one told me to do it with sugar and cold waterand then rub it on ur skin (I think u know wat scrubing is it clears dead skin and removes oil shoudent use it to often only like 3 times a week cause otherwise removes to much oil from skin and it gets dry)

Fran, I’ve heard of these herbs that help removing acne: milk thistle, dandelion leaves, burdock root, red clover. I’m particularly into milk thistle bec. a lot of people have actually recommended this. These herbs enhance liver function so toxins won’t come out of the skin. They’ll come out to othr body parts instead (e.g. anus). It also helps to detoxify excess hormones. i havnt tried it yet but i’m looking forward to doing it. Hope this helps.

my skin started peeling after i used clean and clear for 2 weeks what should i do ..skin is peeling in my cheeks! HElP!! pleasee

highonhealth April 28, 2010 at 11:37 pm

If they’re raised lumps it’s best to visit a dermatologist. If they’re flat red or brown marks on your face, they will fade with time. To speed it up you can try using a BHA, Paula’s choice has a good one. Keep in mind however that if you have clogged pores you may purge in the first month though …it depends how badly you want to get rid of your scars.

rae629 April 28, 2010 at 11:42 pm

haltham20 April 28, 2010 at 11:51 pm

ok thx altho it does look diffrent its like a grey colour

highonhealth April 29, 2010 at 12:41 am

Yeah there are different kinds of spots, this one is probably just sitting under the skin. Best to leave it alone!

haltham20 April 29, 2010 at 1:16 am

im now not as covered with spots as i usally am but i do have this weird one that is quite a big bump and it feels so smooth would u hav an idea wat it is or is it just that not all spots look the same there all hav diffrent looks feels and sizes?

highonhealth April 29, 2010 at 1:25 am

I wouldn’t worry about them. Nobody will seem them in your ears, and most people have blackheads on their nose AND they’re really hard to get rid of. If they don’t turn into inflammations I wouldn’t worry about it.
